In addition, RUSMP evaluates the effectiveness of school-based mathematics, makes recommendations for improvement, and provides targeted professional development, school-based support, coaching and mentoring with the ultimate goal of improving student achievement. RUSMP’s Urban Programs, under the guidance of RUSMP support teachers, provide guidance to schools in the collaborative planning of curriculum and delivery for summer school programs with academic-year follow-up support.
